Bernadette Chandrasegaram has a broad range of experience to support
your business.

Bernadette has a First Class Honours and Masters degree from the University of Melbourne, (major in North East Asian political economy) enhanced by an exchange semester at Yonsei University in Seoul, South Korea.

Bernadette commenced her career with Accenture, working across a range of clients and industries (Australia & USA) specialising in business process transformation and the software development life cycle.

To broaden her global exposure Bernadette based herself in the UK and continued her career in the area of business process outsourcing. She joined Exult, a Glasgow startup, and took charge of the design and delivery of a number of enhancements to Exult's Human Resource Outsourcing (HRO) services for Exult's key client, BP.

When Exult was purchased by Hewitt Associates, Bernadette stepped up to projects of larger scope and scale. This resulted in her gaining experience with the world's biggest HRO initiative: providing HRO for SUN Microsystems globally (44 countries). During the initial phase, Bernadette managed the Europe, Middle East and Africa regions of this project. In later phases she managed the Asia Pacific region, which included the establishment of 4 shared services centres in: Tokyo; Shanghai; Seoul and Gurgaon.

Since late 2007 Bernadette has worked independently in a consulting capacity with a number of companies, on a range of projects. These include:

• NAB - Project manager on a BPO initiative
• Goldman Sachs JBWere - implementing an integrated HRIS and payroll system
• JBWere - assisting the new, JBWere entity to create a HR and payroll function
• Thinc International - conducting a strategic review of selected support functions and recommending ways to maximise effectiveness
